Chirpy Summer mood, breezy evening, good live music, beautiful lights,discovering art,culture and talented curators with quirky and fun merchandise,all put together sums up our weekend happiness indulge!
We happened to attend the happiest flea market in town at Bandra on Friday evening called “The Lil Flea”. The flea market turned a year old and happens to sport good mix of art, shop, food and music and a platform for hosting almost 200+ pop up stalls that sell various kinds of merchandise from quirky to personalized to artsy products across fashion, lifestyle,food and home.The over all arrangement and the look and feel gives you happy moments as you stroll pass the colorful floral garden bike to the cozy swings and seats across the stage ,beautiful lights,live pleasing music,various pop up stalls set up with enthusiasm and excitement under colorful tents put across the venue and you get to shop and witness numerous talented curators,start-ups and their merchandise and their online presence!(the most repeatedly heard question across the stalls-do you sell online?)Phew!The flea was quite positively over whelming for us and a different weekend hangout experience making us appreciate the efforts and intentions that made up for such fun time at the flea.
We managed to visit all the stalls twice or some even thrice to get a glimpse and shop interesting product offerings be it the the quirky prints that seemed quite popular across stalls across different products, or personalized fun merchandise from lamps to hanging lights ,interesting bookmarks, trendy handbags, printed laptop sleeves and cushion covers, fun and utility based daily stationery, amazing fragrances,dream catchers and several novel merchandise),loads of D-I-Y supplies and inspiration(Wine bottles, lights, bulb, planters, chalkboards, colorful and printed frames, fun printed cards, floral headbands, lighted cages and so many more!)Some stalls that caught our attention were Flintstop,2 A.M Store,Pink moustache man,Sky Goodies,Madish,Gia Bath Body and Works,Thinkpot,Queen of Hearts &The Chalk Co.
We were lucky to hear and discover some legit live music by Prateek Kuhaad filled with happy and fresh summer tunes followed by soulful music accompanied with Sarangi(Pagal song rendition of Coke Studio fame) by Winit Tikoo(on vocals) and Shah Rukh Khan and spotted Raghu Dixit as well!(we missed his performance though 
)
Over all we had an engaging, self indulgent and fun filled Friday evening at the flea and we share with you our glimpse of the flea and start our weekend on a super happy and inspired note humming away to Prateek’s songs which is definitely our this week’s music indulge!
